Friendzee (“we”, “us”) builds a social prediction experience for friends. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account data — email, name, nickname, phone (if provided), and profile photo.
- Play activity — plays you create or join, outcomes you pick, stakes, confirmations, and wallet transactions in starz (Friendzee’s in-app currency).
- Device & usage — app version, basic diagnostics, and notification preferences so the product stays reliable.
- Payments — when you top up starz, payment providers (such as Stitch) may process billing details. We receive status and reference information, not full card numbers.
2. How we use information
- Operate Friendzee — accounts, plays, wallets, leaderboards, and notifications.
- Prevent abuse, settle disputes, and keep plays fair among friends.
- Improve product performance and fix bugs.
- Communicate about account security, plays you are in, and service updates.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: (a) other players in plays you join (nickname, picks where the product shows them, and outcomes); (b) infrastructure providers such as Supabase and payment processors under contract; and (c) authorities when legally required.
4. Retention
We keep account and play records while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for fraud prevention, accounting, and legal compliance. You may request deletion subject to those needs.
5. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (encrypted transport, access controls, and database policies). No method of transmission is perfectly secure — please use a strong password and protect your devices.
6. Your choices
- Update profile details and notification settings in the app.
- Request access or deletion of your account data via support.
- Opt out of non-essential marketing emails where offered.
7. Children
Friendzee is not directed at children under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and adjust the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
