Terms of Service

Welcome to Friendzee. By creating an account or using the app/website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Friendzee.

1. What Friendzee is

Friendzee is a social product for friends to create and join prediction “plays”, stake in-app currency called starz, and settle outcomes together. Starz is not a bank deposit, security, or cryptocurrency exchange product. It is entertainment credit for private circles inside Friendzee.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for complying with local laws regarding social wagering among friends.

3. Accounts

• Provide accurate registration information and keep credentials secure.
• One person per account unless we expressly allow otherwise.
• We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, cheat, or harass others.

4. Plays & settlements

• Hosts create plays; participants join by staking starz on an outcome.
• Results are confirmed by participants according to in-app rules (including majority confirmation windows). Platform fees may apply as disclosed in the product.
• Friendzee is not a referee for real-world disputes outside the app’s confirmation flow. Play with people you trust.

5. Starz & payments

• Starz balances are for use inside Friendzee only.
• Top-ups may be processed by third-party payment providers (e.g. Stitch).
• Unless required by law, starz purchases and stakes are final once confirmed. Refunds for cancelled plays follow the in-app cancellation rules.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Friendzee for illegal gambling operations or commercial bookmaking.
• Harass, scam, or impersonate others.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, overload, or circumvent security or fees.
• Upload unlawful or abusive content (including profile media).

7. Intellectual property

Friendzee branding, product design, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You keep rights to content you submit, and grant us a license to host and display it as needed to run the service.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, that every outcome confirmation will match your personal view of reality, or that you will win starz.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Friendzee and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of starz arising from friend disputes, device issues, or third-party outages. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of ZAR 500 or the amount you paid us for starz in the 3 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using Friendzee at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the product.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
